WISE+ stands for Women+ in Science Endeavour. We are committed to greater diversity in mathematics, physics, computer science and information science. Our goal is to show that the exact sciences are for everyone, not just for men! We achieve this by organising fun activities that facilitate community building, as well as educational activities, such as inspiring lunch lectures.

WISE+ started in 2018 as a community for female mathematics students, originally founded to unite these students. The community has since grown to include physics, computer science and information science, and we are now at the start of an expansion to include the corresponding master’s programmes. WISE+ is run on a voluntary basis by a group of students. Our activities are funded by the departments of Mathematics, Physics and Information and Computing Science at Utrecht University.
